Cookie Policy
One cookie by default, and it only exists to hold your answer. Here is the whole list, what each one is for, and how to change your mind.
This page covers porphy.app, the marketing site. It lists every cookie the site can set, which consent group it belongs to, who sets it and how long it lasts. Nothing outside the essential group loads until you allow it.
01The short version
Until you answer the banner, this site sets one cookie — and only after you answer, because that cookie is your answer. No analytics, no advertising tag and no session replay loads before then: the scripts are not fetched at all, so nothing is sent to Google, Microsoft or Meta.
Saying no changes nothing you can see on the site, and you can change your answer from any page: .
02The three groups
Three groups rather than a page of individual switches. Each one says what it is for and what turning it off actually costs you:
- Essential — One cookie, holding the choice you make here, so you are not asked again on every page. Can't be turned off — without it we would have to ask you again.
- Analytics — Which pages get read, where people stop scrolling, which link they were on when they left. Off means we improve the site on guesswork instead of evidence.
- Advertising — Lets an ad platform see that its click led to a sign-up, so a campaign can stop paying for clicks that lead nowhere. Off changes nothing you can see, and you will not be retargeted.
04Changing your answer
Your answer is stored for 180 days, then we ask again. To change it sooner, — the same link sits at the bottom of every page.
Turning a group off deletes the cookies we can reach from the page and then reloads it, because a script that has already run cannot be un-run. Cookies a provider set on its own domain are outside our reach; to clear those, use your browser's site-data controls.
05If your browser already said no
Firefox, Brave and the DuckDuckGo extension can send a browser-level Global Privacy Control signal. If yours does, we record essential-only for you and never show the banner — you already answered, and asking again in a pop-up would be the kind of nagging this page exists to avoid. You can still opt in from the link above if you want to.
06Where the data goes
The analytics and advertising providers above are US companies and process what they collect outside Bangladesh. Granting a group means that provider sees your IP address, the pages you opened on this site and, for advertising, that a sign-up click came from their ad. It never includes your courses, your questions or anything you typed into the app — those never touch this site.
